6 weeks before
- Give written notice to your landlord
- Check your contract for notice period
- Start decluttering and sorting belongings
4 weeks before
- Arrange furniture removal (ontruiming) if needed
- Fix small defects: door handles, toilet seat, light switches
- Take photos of current property condition
2 weeks before
- Book professional cleaning and painting
- Contact utility companies to arrange final readings
- Deregister at municipality if leaving the area
1 week before
- Final walkthrough with our checklist

Handover day
- Return all keys to landlord

- Refrigerator and freezer — defrosted and cleaned
- All cabinets — emptied and wiped inside and out
- Countertops and sink — cleaned and descaled
- Floor — mopped and dried
Bathroom
- Tiles and grout — scrubbed and descaled
- Shower and/or bathtub — cleaned
- Toilet — cleaned inside and out
- Mirror and glass — streak-free
- Sink and taps — descaled
- Extracted fan — cleaned
Living Areas & Bedrooms
- Floors — vacuumed and mopped
